Salvation

I wrote this page because I believe you need salvation. What does that mean? You were born spiritually dead (Christians call this “unregenerate”), you are by nature a rebel against God (or a “sinner”), and you will one day be punished for eternity in hell unless you make peace with God.

“Wait a Second… I Don’t Believe in God.”

Are you sure about that? You act every day as if there was a God. Why do you feel guilty when you do something wrong? Why do you think there is such a thing as “wrong”? Why can you even think? I don’t see how evolution could account for such things. If you do, where did the universe come from? For argument’s sake, I’ll grant that the universe might have evolved from a single hydrogen atom. Where did that atom come from? Evolution doesn’t answer the question of origins; it merely obscures it. Are you sure there’s no God? If so, I will respect your beliefs, but I sincerely believe you are terribly wrong.

God Made You

God made the world to show how great He is. However, the first humans rebelled, and God cursed the world. Ever since the world has been filled with evil because we all have been a part of our ancestors’ rebellion since the moment we were born.

You Are Dead and Dying

We disobey God because we were all born spiritually dead. We don’t naturally desire to do good. Of course, all of us can point to good things we have done, but God sees those good things like a soaked bandage. Our good deeds haven’t stopped us from continuing to do bad things, and they don’t make us clean because they are polluted with our evil deeds and desires. Just as no judge would let murderers go free because of all the times they didn’t kill people, God has condemned us to be punished for our sins no matter how many good things we do. The only way we can pay for our sins is to spend an eternity in hell.

God Will Save You

God loved us so much that he sent His only Son to die in our place. Because Jesus Christ was God, He was able to live a sinless life and die for our sins instead of His own. If we have faith in Christ’s sacrifice and turn from our sins, God will forgive us and give us spiritual life both now on earth and for eternity in heaven.

This Is What the Bible Says…

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen 1:1).

“Sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned” (Rom 5:12).

“None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one…. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins” (Rom 3:10-12, 23-25).

“The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom 6:23).

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame'” (Rom 10:9-11).

Please believe in God’s sacrifice for your sins, repent, and have peace with God today.
